The Simpsons, man... what an endless chest of treasures.

I can only apologise for not getting the likeness right on Marge. Or anyone for that matter. Those original animated designs've become so well-known they're pretty much the most realistic portraits of themselves anyway.
I should probably try modeling Marge after Debra Winger. She's the closest that comes to mind for whatever reason.

Fun exercise nonetheless.

The first one to get the episode reference right gets a special prize. (A candlelit dinner with me in the alleyway. Fellas, settle down.)

Hey, everybody! (=one person reading this in 2016)
Ever since I published this painting I've been getting flack for not drawing Marge pretty enough, and I thought I should address that. I'm not offended by that, as you're completely entitled to your opinion, but here's how I see it, in case you're interested: it's all a matter of difference of point of view. I actually never saw Marge as the knock-out-beauty people were probably expecting. Attractive, yes, but more in a way that I've found most of my crushes attractive, who you may not notice at first glance, but after some time, once you get used to their looks, you start finding them attractive. The kind of crush that has more depth than simply appearance. It's about being attracted to someone by being with them. After that you'll find them beautiful even if they get hit by a truck.
Sure, there are indications in the show, that Marge is cheesecake, such as Homer (and Burns) falling in love with her at first sight. There's also Moe, who's after every chance of getting with her, but, again, I saw that more as a desperate attempt at finding love, because there's no one else in town.
Another conscious decision I made was Marge's expression on this picture. That worried "what the hell is he doing" kind of face, that isn't really supposed to make anyone fall in love with her! It doesn't mean she can't be attractive outside the moment of this picture.
Trust me, folks, this was all thought out well in advance! Even though it may not seem like it.

Love all the comments and feedback I've gotten from Reddit.com and whatnot. Seriously, thank you. Keep 'em coming!

Bart kinda reminds me of King of the Hill.
